    NORTH WEBSTER - The addition of two police officers was approved Wednesday by the North Webster Town Council.

Todd Bough of Indianapolis was sworn in as a full-time deputy marshal and Travis Marsh of North Webster as a part-time officer for the North Webster Police Department.

    The parishioners of Warsaw's Sacred Heart Church honored Father Martin Horvath with a surprise party last week. The event was the 35th anniversary of his ordination into the priesthood. Father Horvath was ordained on June 6, 1943, at Immaculate Conception Church, Fort Wayne, by Bishop Noll. He has been pastor at Sacred Heart for 12 years, replacing the late Father Redington on April 15, 1966.

    James Cumberland, Claypool, is back from the Farm Boys' Forestry camp at Henryville, where he represented Kosciusko County. Jim was selected because of his interest and past record in conservation.

June 27 1928

    ROCHESTER - Michael Kerler, 78, Bremen, Neb., and John Kerler, 73, brothers, were reunited here after a separation of 60 years as the result of a newspaper classified advertisement. The brothers came to the United States from Germany when boys, making the trip five years apart.
