    Warsaw dentist Archie F. Ferguson, DDS, is retiring after 35 years of providing dental care to his patients. The retirement will allow Dr. Ferguson and his wife, Betty, who has been an integral part of the dental office, to spend more time pursuing their leisure activities.

    Joann Rassi, Miss Milford, was crowned the 1976 Queen of Lakes Saturday night during ceremonies, which climaxed the 31st annual Mermaid Festival in North Webster. Rassi, winner of the swimsuit competition at the festival Friday, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Rassi of Milford.

    Ernest (Pat) Kelly, of the Central Shoe Co., is trying hard to revive last summer's "Bass of the Week Club." The last two years several Our Town businessmen have chipped in to participate. The big prize for the biggest bass of the last season went to Pat. First year winner was Our Town baker, Russell (Red) Smith. Let's hope the boys get the club going again this year when the season opens.

    John L. Cook, our friend and comrade of the 33rd Indiana Volunteers, will celebrate his 82nd birthday tomorrow at his home west of Warsaw, half a mile from the scene of his birth. He is a member of a family of 15.
