Shawn Krull, a member of the Wawasee FFA Chapter and a senior at Wawasee High School, has been named the 1991 Section Star Farmer by the Indiana FFA Association. Krull, the son of Hubert and Beth Krull of Milford, is now one of four finalists for the Indiana State Star Farmer Award. This is the highest award that an FFA member can receive at the state level.
The Army has selected Michele Sterk, Warsaw, as one of its 30 representatives to be inducted into a special Bicentennial military unit, the "76 Indiana Volunteers," consisting, symbolically, of 76 volunteers from all five military services.
Genevieve Dennison, Route 1, Claypool, has been chosen to represent Burket High School at the Mermaid Festival, North Webster. Dennison is 17 years old and is 5 feet, 2-1/2 inches tall. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E.L. Dennison, Claypool. Dennison is a junior at Burket High School.
Winifred Anglin and Mrs. Raymond Dye have returned from Cincinnati, Ohio, where they attended the annual convention of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority. They were delegates from the Warsaw chapter of the Delta Theta Tau Sorority.
