Tanisha Marshall and Andra Michelle Hatcher, both of Warsaw, and Raeanne VanScoik, Leesburg, will compete in the Miss Indiana U.S. Teen Pageant at The Hilton at the Airport, Indianapolis.
Vickie Gladieux, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gladieux, Leesburg, was crowned Miss Leesburg Days for 1975 by the 1974 title-holder, Faith Ritchey. Second runner-up in the penny-vote contest was Jenny Hackworth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Hackworth, Leesburg; and first runner-up was Sue Hepler, daughter of Mrs. Peggy Green, Leesburg.
Philip Lucier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Lucier, Winona Lake, served 19 months on the U.S. destroyer Saufley, which figured in the news on June 7. The ship, only recently taken out of the "mothball fleet," was returning from a shakedown cruise to Puerto Rico when it rescued from shark-infested waters 37 survivors of a plane crash.
Milton E. Leckrone, Silver Lake, son of Dr. and Mrs. Ira Leckrone of that place, has received an M.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine.
