Pauline Poor Drudge, Warsaw, recently was presented a gift for 50 years as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, by Annabel Mentzer, regent of Anthony Nigo Chapter, Mentone.
Mrs. Jack Unrue received the 1956 girl-of-the-year award from Mrs. Merle Mock, president last year of Alpha Beta chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, of Warsaw. Each year the chapter confers the honor on that member, who it is considered by sorority members as having given the greatest service to the organization.
NORTH MANCHESTER - Neighbors of Albert Rooney went to his place and plowed his corn. Rooney had been at Fort Wayne during the fatal illness of Mrs. Rooney and had to neglect work on the farm.
