Keri Spurlock is the valedictorian of the class of 1995 at Lakeland Christian Academy. She is the daughter of William and Rosemary Spurlock, Warsaw.
Michael J. Silver, assistant manager of Tri-State Harvestore at Silver Lake, recently became chairman of the Indiana Section, American Society of Agricultural Engineers. The announcement was made recently at the Tri-State ASAE regional meeting held in Findlay, Ohio.
Larry B. Yazel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Yazel, of Bourbon, and Aleta Watkins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. DeVoe Watkins, were named valedictorian and salutatorian respectively of the graduating class at Bourbon High School.
The Kappa Alpha Phi fraternity met in the new club rooms of the fraternity, located above the Chinworth-Oram store. After a short business meeting, Fred Hillegas and Paul Vermillion were given their pledge initiation.
