    Downtown Warsaw will again have the privilege of hosting TGIF Lunchfest each Friday from noon to 1 p.m. The Lunchfest will provide entertainment on the courthouse lawn to downtown spectators and shoppers.

    Memorial services will be conducted here Friday for Warsaw attorney John D. Widaman, 55, and his wife, Marjorie, 52, who were among 81 persons killed last Thursday in the explosion and crash of a jetliner in South Vietnam.

    After eight years of growing, the tulip tree planted in the firemen's park adjacent to the fire station in 1939 has decided to do its stuff. Roy Hauth, firetrck driver, noticed the first and only tulip produced by the tree to date when he glanced out the station window last weekend.

June 19 1922

    Scores of Warsaw boys and girls were today employed in strawberry paches of Kosciusko County. The prevailing rate of pay is 2 cents a quart, while some owners of patches are allowing the youngsters to pick on shares. Two large motor vehicle loads of boys left for the Ed Cox place, south of Warsaw to pick berries.
