    INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana CPA Society recently honored Dana Feldman of Akron as the outstanding accounting major at the University of Indianapolis.

The Indiana CPA Society is an advocate for the profession through education, public awareness, government relations and promotion of high ethical standards.

    HEILBRONN, Germany - Larry D. Weaver Jr., whose parents live at 218 E. Boston St., Syracuse, recently was promoted to Army sergeant while serving as a communications operator with the 26th Signal Battalion in Heilbronn, Germany.

He is a 1974 graduate of Wawasee High School.

    Richard L. "Dick" Kehoe, 31, was named by Mayor Mike Hodges to succeed Wilbur Tennant as a member of the city police department and will assume his duties as a patrolman June 13, working the 4 p.m. to midnight shift.

    Glee Miner hung up a new record for the Warsaw County Club course of nine holes, shooting the course in 32 strokes. The former record was held by George Franklin, with 33 strokes.
