Amanda Alexander and Eric Rodenberg are the winners of this year's Akron School eighth-grade Good Citizenship Award. Amanda is the daughter of Charles and Melissa Alexander, Silver Lake, and Eric is the son of Steve and Cheryl Rodenberg, Akron.
BLOOMINGTON - Linda Sue Bradbury, 403 W. Herscher Drive, Warsaw, has been initiated into the Indiana University Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta freshman honor society.
Pins and engraved certificates were awarded to the winners in the good citizenship contest of the Tippecanoe River chapter of the DAR. Winners are Donna Rose, Etna Green; Anne Price, Bourbon; Lois Fraker, Argos; Violet Burkholder, Bremen; and Katherine Trump, Tippecanoe.
Membership of 231 in the local American Legion Post is the largest in the history of the organization. Congratulations have been received from the state commander. During the past month 56 new members were added. Previous membership never exceeded 213.
