    Deona Himes considers it the "trip of a lifetime." The Tippecanoe Valley High School senior-to-be will join a group of Indiana high school track and field athletes for a 10-day sightseeing and competition trip to the Peoples' Republic of China.

    The Winona School of Professional Photography in Winona Lake is holding an open house in conjunction with their 50th anniversary. Approximately 1,000 professional photographers from all parts of the world attend refresher training courses every summer at the school.

    A clipping from the New York Times shows that Dr. Emery A. Rovenstine, son of Mr. and Mrs. C.A. Rovenstine, of Atwood, has been decorated for health work in Czechoslovakia. E.A. is a professor of anesthesia, New York University college of medicine.

    Following a demonstration of radio music, news reports, baseball, etc., by C.R. Phoebus and Orange Deaton, citizens of Burket are planning to purchase a municipal radio equipment to be located on the town band stand in summer and in the community hall during the winter.
