More than a dozen people watched the antics of a monster fish at William Person's Beachwood Park resort on Hoffman Lake, nine miles west of Warsaw. The big fish was seen to lift its head far out of water and swim around on the surface with its head, tail and back fins protruding. Harley Person, William Person, Ira Roath and W. Cole were among those who vouch for the authenticity of the story. Cole, who last summer saw the fish at Center Lake and tried to help capture it with a shotgun, believes it the same one or identical with the one at Center Lake. The two lakes may be connected by a deep underground channel, he claims.
