    City police patrolman Jerry Laurien and First Sgt. Dennis Hershman displayed the trophies they won in the recent Combat Police Pistol Match sponsored by the Madison County Police Department at Anderson. Their trophies were for a third-place finish as a team in the C Division.

    Eighty-eight Hoosiers who passed bar examinations two months ago will be admitted to the legal profession before the Indiana Supreme Court on June 6.

Alvin T. Rockhill, Warsaw, will be among those taking the oath.

    Going to school via radio is just what many in this locality are doing this season. John W. Banks, Warsaw, is among those here who have recently enrolled in the Radio Farm School of the Blue Valley Creamery Institute, which broadcasts a 10-minute lesson each noon from station WMAQ, Chicago, Ill., and from eight other stations.

Promptly at 1 p.m. the school bell actually rings. C.M. Long, chief of farm service for the Institute, is director, and professors from 13 of the leading agricultural colleges of the middle west comprise the faculty.
