    Firefighters Matt Warren and Duane Patterson built a mini-truck and trailer from odds and ends they were able to collect. While the vehicle won't be racing to any emergencies, it will be used throughout the summer for educational purposes in parades and festivals.

    A Presidential Scholarship has been awarded to Jeffrey M. Nicholls, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Nicholls, Warsaw. He was a 1972 graduate of Warsaw High School and will be enrolled in the College of Business Administration at Valparaiso University.

    With the increasing popularity of the "Barnyard Golf" game in Warsaw, lights have been installed over the horseshoe court in the rear of Herbbert Kehler's Modern Cobbleries and many players are taking advantage of the opportunity for a night game. Each day the court is filled with players and spectators.
