    Although talking is her profession, Kosciusko County police dispatcher Darlene Speigle found she couldn't do her job Wednesday. It seems an ailment reduced her voice to a whisper, forcing police veteran C. Alan Rovenstine to take over in the hotseat.

    Craig Light, talented Warsaw Community High School golfer, will continue his links' career at Murray State University at Murray, Ky. Light, who was granted a golf scholarship at the university, will pursue a pre-med course of study.

    Henry F. Schricker Jr., son of former Gov. Henry F. Schricker, has taken a position as estate counselor for a bank in Columbus. He was recently wed to Jean Laramore, of Plymouth, physical education instructor in the Warsaw School.

    A special train over the Big Four railroad will arrive Sunday afternoon at Leesburg, bringing the Indianapolis Star vacation party of 200 to Yellow Banks when the party will remain for a week's outing. From Leesburg manager Fred Watkins, of the Yellow Banks Hotel, has arranged to convey by auto this big Indianapolis crowd to Webster Lake.
