    Warsaw's chapter of the American Red Cross will soon be saying goodbye to its current executive director and saying hello to a new one.

Norma Anglin, executive director since 1985, will be ending her duties Friday. Replacing Anglin will be Sharon Burns. She has worked for the Red Cross for nine years and will be moving here from Fort Wayne.

    Alvin Schmucker of Rt. 2, Milford, was awarded a special certificate of achievement recently at the close of the National Golf Foundation's Seminar For Teachers and Coaches, held at Huestone Woods Lodge, College Corner, Ohio.

Schmucker was among a group of 60 teachers, coaches and golf professionals who had the opportunity to meet, share ideas and learn new techniques of instruction as presented by outstanding educators of the game.

    Sgt. Eldon Bryant, who is stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison at Indianapolis, spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bryant. Eldon is going to an advanced finance school.

    Miriam Netter, our public librarian, is in Indianapolis attending a conference of Indiana librarians today. Netter is scheduled to make one of the addresses at the conference.
