    Members of the 4-H royalty court were crowned Friday night. Jill Sommers and Tyler Bouse were named the queen and king to reign at the 1993 fair. Shawn Steiner and Mike Ferverda were crowned as princess and prince. Sommers, Steiner and Ferverda are all 10-year 4-H members. Bouse is in his ninth year.

    Dr. John Russell (J.R.) Baum, of Winona Lake, has retired from the First Nation Bank of Warsaw board of directors after a 15-year tenure and his place will be taken by Milford Pharmacist N. John Perry.

Dr. Baum, 80, practiced medicine for nearly 50 years with 46 of those spent in Warsaw.

    Mayor Mike Hodges announced today that firemen and police will officially move into the new city hall, corner of Market and High streets, Thursday night.

Much of the preparatory work was in progress today as the fire truck drivers were busy polishing the trucks and moving equipment from the old city hall, corner of Center and Indiana streets. The city police were doing likewise.

    The national roque tournament held annually at Winona Lake got under way this morning with a Warsaw man, Chester R. Zimmerman, winning his first round against Ferrell Swisher, Richmond, 32 to 26.
