A few days ago The Times chronicled the fact that Marion Gaskill, a resident of South Buffalo Street, had captured an alligator over two feet long in Walnut Creek, the alligator having escaped from a cage with the Strayer Carnival Co., which made a week's stand in Hillery field near the creek.

Marion Gaskill was holding the alligator in a cage on his lot, awaiting delivery to the owner. It seems some boys opened Mr. Alligator's enclosure, and now he's gone. Consequently there is more or less apprehension among residents of South Buffalo Street.
