    Within the next few weeks contractors will be selected to start work on phase one of the Biblical Gardens.

It will be located on the east end of Center Lake Park. Groundbreaking on the $500,000 project is expected in the fall.

    Groundbreaking services will be conducted Sunday at 11:45 a.m. for the new Warsaw Church of God, to be constructed on CR 100S just west of Ind. 15 south of Warsaw.

Cost of the project has been estimated at $330,000.

    Haircuts were quoted at 25 cents each on the Pierceton market Tuesday morning after a brief but brisk price war in which rival shops snipped away furiously at both the tariff and the usual foliage.

Monday to get your ears set out in the Marion Wetter and George Sauter shops the customer had to toss six-bits on the barrel-head.

    Fifteen dairymen attended a meeting of the Elkhart County Cow Testing Association held last evening at the Harrison Center School in Elkhart County.

Glen Davison, Milford, was awarded first honor in butter fat production with 100 pounds for the month of June from a Holstein cow.
