    Amtrak officials arrived in Warsaw to present a plaque of recogniton to Mr. and Mrs. Milford Lock, who voluntarily oversee operations at the Warsaw Depot. The Amtrak station, opened at 212 W. Jefferson St. almost two years ago, has become a focus of attention since Warsaw has become a regular stop.

    Phil Myette, Bambi Brumfield and Alan Cleveland will be cast as the lead parts in the musical "Show Me Jesus" to be presented by a group of county high school and college youth during the 56th annual Kosciusko County Fair.

    Popular Warsaw grocer Owen Emrick taking terrific ribbing from friends after his experience of falling in his own septic tank at the slaughter house. Owen, freshly clothed, had just completed a hair cut, shave and shoe shine.

    There are 9,030 books in the Warsaw Public Library, according to a report of the librarian. Of these, 735 were purchased, 294 donated and 31 added by binding. The largest daily circulation was 329.
