ROCHESTER - Farmers of this county believe that this section of the country will be visited by some dire disaster this year due to the fact that the leaves of oats are plainly marked with a mysterious letter "B" which is a part of the structure of the leaves. The farmers state that the "B" stands for blood. The farmers to back up their claim assert that oat leaves are true forecasters of coming troubles, pointing to the fact that in 1914 each oat leaf was marked with a "W" which stood of course for the great World War.
