Ben Phillipson of Warsaw, who is spending his annual vacation at Yellow Banks, Webster Lake, succeeded in landing a new species of bass known as the Bassicus de shrinkus. The fish when first caught was thought to weigh about 10 pounds, but when weighed 30 minutes later at the hotel one-fourth mile from where it was caught, weighed but 2 pounds. Ben is proud of his discovery and will remain at Yellow Banks for the remainder of the week in hope of landing other fish of this species.
