    Rolland Crowel, Patricia Brumfield and Leroy Long celebrated their 25th anniversaries with Zimmer Inc., a division of Bristol-Myers Squibb, at a special luncheon June 29 with Zimmer president Ronald L. Davis.

Davis presented awards to each in recognition of their service.

    Alpha Lambda Chapter of Tri Kappa recently initiated six new members at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, Warsaw. Among those initiated were Susan Bolinger, Melanie Huffer, Anne Summe, Leslie L. Andrews, Dixie Whitney and Julie Monteith.

    Ben Phillipson, 79, and Jim Armington, 20, were the oldest and youngest men, respectively, competing in last night's preliminaries of the centennial beard judging contest.

    Patsy Rose McClure, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles McClure, and granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brown, formerly of North Webster, but now of Mishawaka, is one of the prize winners in a baby contest given by the South Bend Moose Lodge. The little lady is a great-granddaughter of Ed Brown, east of Warsaw.
