    Mary Ann Irwin, a teacher at Pierceton Elementary School, was selected recently by the Indiana Department of Education as a presenter for the 1988 Indiana PRIME TIME Fair.

Irwin will share "Math Their Way," an innovative, hands-on approach to teaching math, which several Pierceton teachers have piloted as a mini-grant proposal for the past two years.

    Mr. and Mrs. Jorge Zambrano, 709 Terrace Dr., Winona Lake, recently have been accepted for missionary service with the World Radio Missionary Fellowship (WRMF).

The WRMF operates radio station HCJB in Quito, Ecuador. Zambrano will work at the Ecuador station as a radio and television producer, while his wife, Denise, will be a counselor.

    Robert Chapple, a member of Boy Scout troop 40, Silver Lake, is now an Eagle Scout, the highest rank possible to achieve in scouting. He and the other 17 members of troop 40 passed approximately 75 tests during the week of July 4, when they attended Boy Scout camp.
