    Word has it Burleigh Burgh provides a bonus service for his customers. Apparently Burgh has been known to follow the city's meter maid, Christine Fields, down the street, wiping chalk marks off the tires of his customers' cars to prevent them from receiving parking tickets. Some of those dominoes games in Breadings go well past two hours, the allotted parking time on downtown streets.

    Cheryl Games, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Games, 613 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, has recently been awarded a National Certificate of Achievement at Smith-Walbridge Camp at Syracuse. She is now rated as an apprentice baton twirler.

    A new mechanized dam now in operation to control water line of Winona and Little Eagle lakes and located at the outlet into Walnut Creek. Dam constructed under direction of Warsaw's ardent fisherman, Russell "Red" Smith.

July 12 1922

    Officer Earl Burwell, of South Funk Street, was feeling somewhat better Thursday. Mr. Burwell has been suffering from wounds received when shot with a shotgun by Earl Denny in a raid on moonshiners several days ago.
