    Wallace Martin looked on as workers removed his truck from a boat launch on Kuhn Lake. The truck wasn't able to hold its own on the steep embankment and slid into the water. Martin's fishing trip wasn't wasted ... he caught a 3-inch fish in the bed of the truck.

July 10 1975

    Dr. Robert Arnold has graduated from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis and will be opening his office in Fort Wayne for the practice of general dentistry.

He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Arnold of Silver Lake.

July 10 1950

    Jack Julian, of 950 E. Clark St., told police that two or three pairs of women's panties were taken from a clothes line outside his home sometime during the night. Julian said that two other pairs - both of a larger size - were left in his yard and had probably been taken from some other clothes line.

July 10 1925

    Frank Randalls, driver of the Warsaw central fire truck, landed a fine 4-pound bass at Little Chapman Lake. Dale Boxall recently captured a 5-3/4 pound bass at the same lake.
