    MARTIN, Tenn. - Warsaw resident Rachel Lynnette Keele was among students named to the fall semester dean's list at the University of Tennessee at Martin.

To be eligible for dean's list recognition, a student must take at least 12 hours of credit and achieve a 3.2 grade point average based on a 4.0 scale.

    Fire officers of the Syracuse Fire Department for 1976 include John Connolly, captain; Jerry Byrd, secretary-treasurer; Tommy Ryman, lieutenant; Larry Weaver, second assistant; Robert Penick I, chief; and Kenneth Johnson, first assistant. Weaver was the chief of the department of 1975.

    We learn that Ronnie Brown, only 5, son of the Glen Browns, of Milford, during a yule church program, recited the entire 56 lines of Clement Moore's "The Night Before Christmas" from memory in his first stage appearance, thereby literally stealing the show.

    The annual report of Dr. O.H. Richer, secretary of the Warsaw board of health for 1925, shows 91 deaths, against 99 births; a gain of eight births over the death rate.

Of the 91 deaths, 47 were males and 44 females. In the births there were 50 males and 49 females.
