    Air Force Staff Sgt. Michael K. Bucher II, a security specialist, has arrived for duty at RAF Mildenhall, England.

He is the son of Marilyn LeCount, North Manchester, and Michael Bucher, Helena, Mont. He graduated from Manchester High School in 1982.

    The first baby born in Kosciusko County this new Bicentennial year of 1976 is Nathan Alan Brazo, son of James and Carol Brazo, 208 Broadway St., Mentone. The infant arrived at Murphy on Jan. 2 at 7:37 a.m. He weighed in at 8 pounds, 14 ounces and was 21 inches long. He has a brother, Gregory James, age 6 years. Mrs. Brazo said she actually was on her way to a Fort Wayne hospital, but she barely made it to the delivery room at Murphy.

January 3 1951

    Waverly Berry, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.W. Berry, of this city, left for Pittsburgh. She will be a soloist with the Petrie Brass and Woodwind Ensemble for a one-week tour to various eastern cities.

Berry, a saxophonist, is a member of the Warsaw High School band and is at present a pupil of Joseph Erskin, of Elkhart.
