Kosciusko County Shriners will file into the Unique Bakery in Warsaw Thursday at 6 p.m. and pack sack lunches for approximately 1,700 third graders going to the circus on Friday.
County gradeschoolers will begin their journey to the Fort Wayne Shrine Circus from the fairgrounds at noon Friday. This is the 24th year Kosciusko Shrine Club has sponsored and financed the trip.

Ted Harp, Sidney, is among 23 heavyweight entered in the 20th annual Golden Gloves amateur boxing tournament, which starts tonight at Fort Wayne's North Side gym.
Harp is the only Kosciusko County boy entered.

Some night vandal of the air, who nightly disturbs radio concerts and programs by continually tapping his sending set which sends out shrill stacatto notes making radio reception in Warsaw impossible, is being sought by Warsaw fans.
Last night he was heard by many Warsaw radio fans and spoiled the entire evening for at least a score of them. January 30 10 Years Ago Paul Jarrett, the son of former Manchester College football coach Jack Jarrett, is counting his lucky stars - and few cool million. The younger Jarrett, who lived in Manchester, won the Florida lotto. He plans to split the $4.5 million with a co-winner. 25 Years Ago Sandra Biltz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Biltz, 1102 E. Center St., Warsaw, has been chosen to exhibit her painting in the Indianapolis Museum of Art. Sandra, a fifth-grader at McKinley School, Warsaw, won the honor when she submitted a picture-entry in the Young People's Art Contest. 50 Years Ago Tom Ramsier, former Warsaw-Winona High School boy who left here a few years ago for Chicago, where he won the famous Kellogg $6,000 scholarship at Chicago Art Institute, will return to Warsaw Saturday night as the headline speaker for the January Youth for Christ rally. He will be featured in a chalk-talk number in Warsaw High auditorium, the school he attended in his freshman and sophomore years. 75 Years Ago Eleven-inch ice was being stored at Pike Lake today. It was estimated five days' more work would complete the packing. At Center Lake the Warsaw Ice Co. houses were almost three-fourths filled and two days more was expected to complete the storage. Ice there was about 9 inches. Workmen were being paid 30 cents per hour.
