If she has her way, Felke will one day see her name in lights. At age 17, the Warsaw Community High School junior has already seen her picture in a national catalogue, and dancing her way to the top of the world may not be far behind. Felke was chosen to take part in a modeling job through The Chicago Academy for the Arts, where she attended school for one semester last year.

Lakeland Christian Academy, the new Christian high school in the Warsaw-Winona Lake area, is under construction. Located on Wooster Road east of Grace College, the building is being erected by Kropf Manufacturing Co., Goshen.
The building is the start of a 13-acre campus where the Lakeland Academy will be located.
50 Years Ago January 29 1950
Lorna Mae Nifong, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Nifong, of near Bourbon, is waving goodbye to the circus world and after tonight will exchange her baton for a broom. Lorna Mae will be united in marriage tonight to Arthur W. Cooksey, of Pacific Beach, Calif. in the Mt. Pleasant Brethren Church.
Nifong has been traveling with the combined Barnum and Bailey-Ringling Brothers circus as a featured baton twirler. Her marriage will climax a story-book romance that led through 25 states under the big top. Mr. Cooksey worked in the circus as a clown and mailman.

Florence Cranor, of South Washington Street, entertained at a bridge and dancing party at her home on Thursday evening. The guests include Edith and Winifred Anglin, Dale Coffin, Helen Young, and Messrs. Robert Kuhn, Bill Laurien, Ed Haymaker, Charles Leibrock, Richard Beroth and Donald Stamates.
