    Andy Kiser accepted a check for $2,211 after winning the Break-The-Bank jackpot last week at Holiday Bowl. Kiser, who bowls for A-1 Hour Photo in the Wednesday night Men's League, won the jackpot while rolling a 716 series on Jan. 20. To win the Break-The-Bank jackpot, which is open to all league bowlers at Holiday Bowl, Kiser converted strikes in the nine randomly drawn frames for the night.

    Specialist Four Larry D. Weaver Jr., son of Gloria LeCount, Syracuse, and Larry D. Weaver Sr., Syracuse, recently was assigned as a carrier operator with the 26th Signal Battalion in Germany.

Spec. Weaver entered the Army in 1974 and is a 1974 graduate of Wawasee High School.

    Frank K. Tillman, Warsaw, former navyman, was notified Tuesday of his appointment as a member of a new National Naval Hospital committee to work with retired naval personnel and those who go in the fleet reserve after 20 years service until they get 30 years of service.

The national office is located on Shade Island, N.E., Washington, D.C.

    According to the report of the county attendance officer for December, Miss Esther Likens, teacher in Tippecanoe Township, led the past month with a 100 per cent record attendance. Considering the smallpox and other epidemics, the attendance officer considers all attendance records good.
