Manchester College has hired David Harms as its new football coach. He replaces Dale Liston, who resigned in December.
Piano students of Iva Lozier took part in a piano recital Jan. 20. Those participating included Greg Bell, Charles, Karen and Lisa Yacuzzo, Dawn and Tammy Lemon, Laura Engle, Jill Grose, Susie Holbrook and Lisa Stephens.
Employees of The Times-Union and WRSW are enjoying the home-made fudge sent by Mrs. Charles Gordon, of near Warsaw, as an expression of appreciation for the effort made by the radio station and the newspaper to find the two heifers belonging to the Gordons, which were lost several weeks ago. One of the calves has been located, but the other is still missing.
Tribulations of Aaron Kincaide continue. Kincaide, well-known farmer, residing just west of the city, who last summer was stung by some 5,000 bees and found unconscious, and last fall took a prominent part in two automobile accidents, yesterday added another active chapter. Hitching four horses to a building he was moving, the horses ran away and threw him into the frigid waters 18 feet deep in the Tippecanoe River. In swimming ashore Kincaide's chattering jaws shook out his brand new Nappanee store false teeth, which sank to the river bottom.
