    SYRACUSE - Barb Signorelli won the all-around to lead the Wawasee gymnastics team past Leo 92.35-69.70 Thursday night.

Signorelli won the balance beam and the uneven bars and finished second in the floor exercise to teammate Karen Butt. Butt finished second in the all-around followed by fellow Lady Warrior Nikki Marsh.

    Christopher Whitney, Warsaw Community High School teacher of social sciences, has been notified that his educational and professional achievements warrant his being listed in the 1976 and Bicentennial edition of "Outstanding Young Men in America," an annual publication compiled in Washington, D.C.

"Outstanding Young Men of America" is an annual biographical listing of men throughout the nation who show considerable promise in their various occupations, and who have made noteworthy accomplishments before reaching the age of 35.

    Carolyn Knight, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Knight, of East Fort Wayne Street, has gone to Kansas City, Mo., where she is enrolled in a six- weeks training course for airplane hostesses.

January 23 1926

    "Coral Bead," nine-month-old beagle house, property of Dr. J.M. Jennings of Warsaw, brought home prizes from the Grant County poultry, dog and cat show at Marion. She won first prize in the puppy class, and took the winner's ribbon in the 13-inch, all age class. She was shown in the all-age 13- and 15-inch class and won second prize, defeating the famous bench champion "Handsome Hal" property of a Tipton man.
