    Bruce E. York was recently called and ordained as the bishop of the Warsaw ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As bishop, York is the residing high priest for the Warsaw Ward and as such he is the father of the ward, president of the Aaronic priesthood and a judge in Israel.

    When it comes time to visit the folks back home, the drive in the future won't be nearly so lengthy for Max Bolinger.

As had been rumored for some time, the 37-year-old Bolinger Friday was appointed Warsaw Community High School head football coach at a special noon meeting of the Warsaw School Board. A native of Warsaw, he comes home after a successful seven-year stint as head coach at Bluffton High School.

    Accustomed to coping with all kinds of emergencies, the American Red Cross chapter office got a kick out of one small-size service it gave Thursday. It was the loan of a nickel to the blood program chairman, Fred Anglin, Leesburg, when he discovered the parking meter flag was ready to pop up and he hadn't a single coin in his pocket - just a couple of large bills. Fred was grateful, but certainly embarrassed.

    ROCHESTER - Some one in this vicinity is seeking a lot of light on the subject of theft. In one week 58 light bulbs were stolen from the driveway of the Colonial Hotel. Other lake resort owners have reported numerous thefts of bulbs from their places of business.

The electric light company has reported no increase in current usage.
