    NAPPANEE - Led by a record-setting effort by Nate Mattfeld, the Warsaw Tigers swim squad dominated conference foe NorthWood 118-67 Thursday night for their sixth straight victory.

Mattfeld set a pool record with his winning effort in the 100 breaststroke race as the Tigers won 10-12 events. Mattfeld clocked in a pool best time of 1:03.42 to win the 100 breaststroke.

    Warsaw's Claudia Kreicker was all smiles as she received the Most Valuable Player Award from Tiger Club President Larry Gaerte following Saturday's four-way girls' tourney. Kreicker led all tourney scorers with 33 points in the two games.

    The Anthony Nigo chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, of Mentone, announced the winner of the annual Good Citizen's contest as Elener Norris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Norris, Mentone, and a senior at Beaver Dam High School.

Seven schools represented in the contest were as follows: Marcella Parker, of Burket School; Jackie Stidham, Mentone; Carol Miller, Atwood; Naomi Blocker, Silver Lake; Jane Mishler, Sidney; and Joy Coy, Claypool.

    C.B. Brower of Pierceton, J.E. Eaton of Mentone, and George E. Work of the Barger-Work Motor Co., have just returned from Indianapolis where they were in conference with factory and zone sales executives and state that the Chevrolet Motor Company has established as its 1929 production quota 1,250,000 passenger and truck units.
