    Movies showing at Lake Cinemas are "Dumb and Dumber," starring Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels; Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson in "Nell"; "Legends of the Fall," with Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins and Aidan Quinn; and "The Jungle Book."

    SPOKANE, Wash. - Master Sergeant John F. Foresman, son of Mr. and Mrs. E.H. Foresman, of Warsaw, has been named Outstanding Noncommissioned Officer of the Year at Fairchild Air Force Base.

A survival training technician, Sgt. Foresman was selected for leadership, professional skill and duty performance.

January 21 1955

    Two Etna Green youths found a box full of money and with the help of state police, managed to locate the owner and return the money before it was even missed, getting a reward for their honesty.

Alvin Duane Rockhill and Jim Stouder heard something hit the pavement as a truck rolled by them on an Etna Green street. The boys investigated and found a large amount of currency and change which had fallen off of a truck driven by James Stackhouse. His wife had accidently left the money on the running board.

January 21 1930

    The first talking and sound moving pictures in Warsaw will be seen and heard at the Centennial Theatre commencing Monday night, in the special feature film "Street Girl."

A force of electricians and experts have been busy for the past several days at the theater installing the new and expensive equipment which will give Warsaw and Kosciusko County one of the most modern and up-to-date talking moving picture theaters in northern Indiana.
