Brianna was the first baby born in 1993 in Kosciusko County. She was born to Belinda Hollar, Warsaw, at 9:25 a.m. Friday, was 19-1/2 inches long and weighed 7 pounds, 4 ounces. She joins a brother, Zane, age 2. Brianna received a gift certificate from Ulhman's and a stuffed lamb from the KCH Auxiliary.
Mr. and Mrs. John Wintrode, 703 Terrace Drive, Apt. C, Winona Lake, are the parents of a baby boy, Travis Lee, born Jan. 1, at Kosciusko Community Hospital. The Wintrodes are parents of another son, Joseph Thomas, 20 months.
Two New Year's babies were born in this city Thursday. A daughter, Carol Denise, was born at 10:23 a.m. at the Murphy Medical Center to Mr. and Mrs. William Brickey, 2005 E. Jefferson St.
Berenice Smith, Margaret Dye, Frances Dickey, Ignota White, Helen Headley, Marian Pierce, John Whitehead, John Lyons, Ronald Lamb, Stanford Smith, James Leffel and Sam Rubenstein enjoyed a bobsled party Saturday evening. Later in the evening they were entertained at a watch party at the home of Berenice and Stanford Smith.
