    Get in the habit of buckling up. Come July 1, it will be the state law. According to officials at the Warsaw Police Department, failure to comply with the law will be considered a Class D infraction, punishable with a fine of undetermined value, or a warning.

    Dick Allen, Freeland "Flip" Phillips, and Ben Briganti were honored at the Scout Leaders appreciation dinner held in Atwood. Allen and Briganti were both given the District Award of Merit and Phillips was presented with the 50-year veteran award.

    Bouncing of the mercury from around 44 to zero is tough on the coal pile and conducive to colds and what-not. One day it's rain and fog with a bit of snow tossed in. The next day is just as apt to bring frost or a blanket of ice.

Jan. 9 1922

    The largest shipment of automobiles ever made will pass through Warsaw on the Pennsylvania railroad Saturday, en route from New York to San Francisco. The train will be made of 100 cars, loaded with Dort automobiles. There must be no delay in getting the train through on record time.
