    Lorissa Jeanne Rigsby, 15, of Chapman Lake will be competing in the Miss Jr. America Show in Indianapolis. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. Jan Kuntz, Chapman Lake, and Paul Rigsby, Marion.

    William C. Reneker, 35, Kosciusko County Probation officer, was honored by Jaycees at the Rozella Ford Country Club with the annual Distinguished Service Award, presented each year to the area resident age 21 to 35 who is judged to have contributed outstanding concern and involvement in community projects.

    A Red Cross display featuring 148 dresses, sizes 2 to 12, scheduled for delivery to the Netherlands and France, and samples of children's sweaters knitted from surplus army yarn, all made by volunteer Red Cross production workers of Kosciusko County, on display in Stephenson's window.

    There were about 18 less burials at Oakwood Cemetery here in 1921 than in the preceding year, according to the report of Sexton T.D. Mayer. 908 people have been buried at Oakwood Cemetery in the past 11 years.
