    Warsaw attorney Michael Valentine has purchased a building at 603 N. Parker St., formerly housing the Duane Gable Construction Co. Valentine says he is remodeling the building and expects to move his law office to the new location in about three months.

    George Lenke, president of Da-Lite Screen Corp. and chairman of the initial gifts section of the fund drive by Kosciusko Community Hospital, in a recent talk gave a brief history of action to date in the drive for a community hospital here.

    Wholesale prices of ice cream in the Warsaw area were increased from 1 to 3 cents per pint today, according to Alex King, owner of Warsaw Bottling Works and a member of the Indiana Dairy Association. King said that all major ice cream manufacturers made the increase simultaneously.

Jan. 18 1922

    Billed at the Centennial Theatre in Warsaw as "the year's greatest screen sensation," the Rudolph Valentino - Agnes Ayres movie "The Shiek" ended a three-day engagement in town. Adults were admitted to the balcony for 20 cents or they could choose the main floor for 30 cents. The admission price for children was 15 cents.
