Hall Hardware in downtown Warsaw is literally "bursting at the seams." Proprietor Mark Bishop has knocked out a wall between his store and one to the south formerly occupied by the Granny Trap. The expanded area will have a convenient entrance along Market Street.
Dean Updike, a June 1972 graduate of the Whitko School, is winner of the American Legion Auxiliary scholarship awarded each year to an eligible student of the Whitko School Corporation. Dean is enrolled in Indiana University's division of technical studies and is majoring in marketing. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Winterroud, Rt. 1, Pierceton.
Since this is Leap Year, February will have an extra day, the 29th. Babies born on that day will not have a birthday until 1952.
J.P. Rader, who serves Leesburg residents with milk, early in December put a $1 advertisement in the Leesburg page of the Warsaw Times. Within ten days he added eight new customers to his 60 patrons and now is serving 72. "I'm going to do more advertising," said Rader when he visited The Times office last night.
