Warsaw senior tackle Chad Gallentine has been chosen as a Region 2 representative for the annual North-South All-Star football game, scheduled for Butler University in Indianapolis in late July.
Karen Sells, Kosciusko County's 1972 Junior Miss, will compete tonight in the Indiana Junior Miss Pageant in Frankfort. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Duane C. Sells of Silver Lake.
Members of the girls' athletic association are practicing volleyball and ping-pong this week, preparing for a girls' "play day" to be held in Warsaw this Saturday. Wabash, North Manchester, North Webster, Bremen and Plymouth will be guests.
Miniature auto license plates bearing the name "Warsaw" are being pronounced and sold here by Harold Smythe and Roy Goshert, who are promoting the business. The Bite-Em-Bait Company is manufacturing the plates. They are designed to attach to regular license plates.
