    Cpl. Matthew Sausaman, of Syracuse, was promoted to sergeant (E-5) with the National Guard Armory, Company C. Second Battalion 151st Infantry, in Plymouth.

Sausaman completed the primary leadership development course to qualify for the promotion last summer.

February 22 1981

    Three members of the Warsaw Community High School Band have been selected for the 1981 All-State Band organized by the Indiana Bandmasters Association.

Selected for the band were, Laura Crandell, flute, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Crandell; Pamela Jarecki, flute, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Jarecki; and Scott Huffer, percussionist, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Huffer.

    Warsaw High School will have a new head football coach next fall.

The resignation of Frank Sanders and appointment of William "Bill" Goshert, 28, to take his place was announced.

    NORTH MANCHESTER - According to the new state road map just issued by the state highway department, North Manchester is on Ind. 5. That will be the number of the road from Akron east through North Manchester to Huntington and then south to Montpelier where it will be united with road No. 3.
