    Many hours of hard work and a burning desire to succeed have earned Manchester High School quarterback Andrew Cornell a chance to continue playing college football.

The 6-foot-1 193-pound quarterback signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at University of Louisville.

February 16 1975

    Madison Elementary School wrote the perfect ending to a perfect 13-0 season last night capturing Warsaw's Elementary School basketball tournament. The happy bunch of kids include Fred Sisk, Troy Furnivall, Jim Deafenbaugh, Terry Heisler, Paul Miller, Jerry Womack, Eric Sebo, Ricky Roberts, Brett Hanft, Tracy Terrell, Kent Kleeman and Gene Momeyer. Cheerleaders are Kim Kleeman, Laura Franklin and Deanna Conley. John Walgamuth and Kevin Gearhart are managers and their coach is Jerry Ryman.

    Douglas Kehler, young son of Mr. and Mrs. Clair Kehler, Pike Street, entertained at the Marshall County Farm Bureau institute held at the Gymnasium at the West Township school, near Plymouth.

Impersonations were given by the little boy. In giving these the following recordings were used: "Do You Want to Buy a Bunny?", "Our Hour," "The Clink, Clink Polka," "Blowing Bubble Gum," "Wild Bill Hiccup," "None But the Lonely Heart" and "Dance of the Hours."

    Vivian Liggett has been elected as Kosciusko County representative in the junior legislature, which will convene at Indianapolis March 23 and continue in session over March 28.

The choice was made at a meeting held at the office of Jesse Bruner, county superintendent of schools.
