Everett Clabaugh, of Rte. 4, Warsaw, was making plans today to have his dog returned to him. The dog, lost recently while Clabaugh was hunting near Kendallville, was found early this morning in Avilla.

An Avilla resident called Police Chief Roy Adams at 8:30 a.m. Monday and reported that the dog came to their home. It wore a collar and tag bearing Clabaugh's name. Clabaugh was notified at the Warsaw Foundry, where he is employed, of his dog being found.

J.A. Heck, sober and with no thought of levity, told of big snowballs having been rolled by the wind during the snow storm of Monday.

The wind was blowing a gale, and the snow was soft and sticky. He said the wind would gather a bit of snow, and start it rolling, and it would gather snow as it gather speed. Ball after ball of this kind was rolled in his barnyard, sometimes getting to 5 or 6 inches in diameter before they would stop of their own weight.
