    Warsaw attorney Jeanne Rondot has been named the 1990 Outstanding Young Careerist by the Warsaw Business and Professional Women's Club.

Rondot will represent the Warsaw BPW Club in a district-wide young careerist competition in March. The district winner will compete in the Indiana federation's annual convention in May.

February 14 1975

    Nineteen members of the Purdue Home Project Club recently celebrated the club's 42nd anniversary with a noon dinner at the Lucky Steer Restaurant. The table decorations were in keeping with Valentine's Day.

Ruth Bayne conducted the business session and reported on the President's Council meeting. Bicentennial poems and quilt blocks were discussed. The door prize was won by Hazel Fitton.

February 14 1950

    Principal James Riley announced that Warsaw High School has received an "unqualifiedly recommended" rating from the Indiana State Committee of the North Central Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools. Warsaw is one of approximately 70 high schools in the association.

February 14 1925

    From the broadcasting station at the Hotel McAlpine, New York City, key number 2XH, piano solos by Virginia Ruse, a talented Warsaw musician, will be heard by radio on Saturday evening at 12:15 midnight, eastern time, or 11:15, standard time.

Ruse is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ruse, who several months ago went to a New York conservatory to continue her studies. Warsaw radio friends of Ruse are sure to "tune in" when she appears on the program Saturday night.
