    "The Italians are taking over the Greeks!" laughs Bill "Dig" Degaetano, new owner of the Humpty Dumpty Grill in downtown Warsaw.

By March 5, the restaurant will be known as Dig's Humpty Dumpty. Until then, however, co-owners Jim Klondaris and Costas Lambros will continue to carry on a 40-year tradition at 114 N. Buffalo St.

February 12 1975

    Robert and Doris Fisher, of 1704 Walnut Creek Drive, Warsaw, will greet friends and guests at their new place of business, located at 1111 E. Winona Ave., on Feb. 14 and 15.

They have operated the Glass Service of Warsaw for the past 10 years. One week before Christmas they moved into the new quarters.

February 12 1950

    Samuel Bashore, of Silver Lake, celebrated his 91st birthday anniversary Saturday at the home of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Warner, of Silver Lake, with whom he has lived for the past five years. Mr. Bashore is in good health. He walks downtown twice each day, and attends all the home basketball games.

    A considerable stir has been created among the mint growers of Kosciusko County by the sensational jump of the price of mint oil to $12.50 a pound, the highest price on record. Even at the high point in war times the price only went to $9 and $10, which was considered sky high.
