    UPLAND - Stephanie Ringgenberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kerry Ringgenberg, Warsaw, visited England in January for a study program called Literary London arranged through Taylor University, where she is a junior communication studies major.

Students toured attractions that focused on the literary heritage of England, as well as its contemporary contributions to culture and literature.

    INDIANAPOLIS - A 243-pound crossbred hog owned by Ralph Moffitt, South Whitley, was judged grand champion of the 1979 Hoosier Barrow Show in January.

    Members of the Burket National Farm Loan association held their annual meeting in th circuit court room this morning and elected five directors for the ensuing year.

The new directors are: Hudson Miller, Russell Kring, Mahlon Rickel, John Kuhn and Harry Vandermark.
