Triton seniors Theresa Bates and Mark McBride were crowned homecoming queen and king at the Triton-Caston basketball game. Bates is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Bates and McBride is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Steve McBride, all of Bourbon.
Mr. and Mrs. Mont Harmon, Rt.6, Island Park, Chapman Lake, will observe their 64th wedding anniversary on February 2 at their home. He is 84 years old, and she is 81.
Dick Shaffer, 18, high school senior and son of Mr. and Mrs. George Shaffer, East Market Street, was named "Tiger of the Week" on the "Teen Time Tunes" radio show Saturday morning over WRSW.
Guy Symensma, who lives a mile west of Syracuse, lost a brood sow some weeks ago. No trace of her could be found anywhere for about two weeks; then one day they found her under a straw stack that had toppled over on her. She was still living and did not seem to be much the worse for her experience.
