    While local pharmacist Joe Mendenhall recovers from a stroke in Fort Wayne Parkview Hospital, some pharmacists from the Kosciusko Community Hospital Pharmacy have been helping out. Mike Gross, Dennis Mock and Terry Daniels have worked evenings in helping the regular Mendenhall staff keep the pharmacy open.

    The 1972 Grace Bible Conference concluded yesterday after a successful week of meetings. Alumni and friends from a five-state radius attended the conference.

Feb. 7 1947

    Pvt. Paul E. Gross, son of Earl Gross, Warsaw, last week wound up a 16-week course as an airplane mechanic at Keesler Field, Miss., and qualified for additional specialized training in the maintenance of heavy bombers, cargo planes, and jet and rotor aircraft.

    The present city dumping ground west of Detroit Street is a nuisance, according to information conveyed to the city council at the regular meeting Monday night. All kinds of refuse matter is being thrown on the dumping ground with the result that it is throwing off a stench that is repulsive to persons residing within two blocks.
