    Warsaw boys swim team, coached by Steve Ranklin, won its third straight Northern Lakes Conference swimming championship at Concord High School. Warsaw garnered 301 points in the meet.

    Jane Ganshorn, a Warsaw Community High School student, interviewed Fredal Wolfram, a native of Germany and formerly an interpreter for the late Gen. Dwight D. Eisenhower in Wolfram's Warsaw home as part of a high school speech assignment.

    The aggressive and fighting Trojans of Milford High School are ready to defend their sectional title after scoring a narrow but important victory over Columbia City. Members of the Milford team are Bill Speicher, Don Wolferman, Capt. Phil Beer, Dick Kaiser, coach Bob Bushong, Wayne Riggs, Jack Klopenstine, Lew Speicher and Harry Doty.

    Reduction of ice prices, one-half those of last summer, was announced today by manager Ernest Clase, of the Warsaw Ice Co. Ice delivered for domestic use will cost 50 cents per hundred pounds, coupon books 40 cents per hundred, wholesale trade 25 and 35 cents per hundred.
